Ad Hoc Lead and Wildlife Working Group

The Ad Hoc Lead and Wildlife Working Group was established by the WAFWA President and directors in July 2009.   Membership includes the Chairs of WAFWA’s Wildlife Heath Committee, Human Dimensions Committee, and Resource Information and Education Committee; the Chairs of the Wildlife Chiefs and Fish Chiefs; and the Directors of the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The working group’s approved Statement of Purpose:

“The purpose of the Ad Hoc Lead and Wildlife Working Group is to assess and apprise Association members of emerging issues and science related to the topic of lead and wildlife, and develop recommendations for the Directors’ consideration when  deemed necessary.”
