The Lesser Prairie-Chicken Initiative Council (LPCIC) was established in 2013 as the governing body for the Range-wide Conservation Plan. The current membership of the LPCIC includes:

Lesser Prairie Chicken Advisory Committee (LPCAC)
The Lesser Prairie-Chicken Advisory Committee (LPCAC) was established in 2013 as a pathway for stakeholders to engage in the adaptive management process. The committee represents industry participants, agricultural associations and landowners, local governments, municipalities and co-ops, conservation organizations, and state and federal agencies. The committee reports directly to the LPC Initiative Council. The current membership includes:

Science Subcommittee
In order to safeguard the integrity of science used to make decisions associated with the RWP, the SSC shall evaluate scientific merits of proposals that change the RWP at the request of the LPC Advisory
Committee (LPCAC). Proposals may also be submitted to the SSC by researchers, members of the SSC, and WAFWA staff.
