The Integral Role of Nutrition in Deer and Elk Biology and Management

On behalf of the Western Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies (WAFWA) and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), we are pleased to invite you to participate in the virtual 14th Biennial WAFWA Deer and Elk Workshop being presented August 3rd – 5th, 2021. WAFWA represents 24 states and Canadian provinces and is a strong advocate of state and provincial authority to manage fish and wildlife within their borders.

CDFW will host the meeting in a virtual platform, which will attract 250–350 deer and elk biologists across the species’ range from California to Canada to Mexico. This high-quality virtual forum provides a platform where leading innovators, researchers, and practitioners will share research results, management strategies, and emerging issues in the realms of deer and elk management.
