WAFWA Introduces New Student Engagement Program

The WAFWA is proud to host the Student Engagement Program to encourage college students from western states and provinces to gain professional skills and interact with fish and wildlife professionals at our 2024 Summer Meeting.

This program will sponsor student fellows to provide funds for travel, room and board, and registration for the conference. Students will have a full-day workshop to hone their professional skills with mock interviews, resume critique, professional and student mixers, and more!

We encourage all WAFWA participants to share the program’s promotional flyer and encourage people to apply by the March 31, 2024 deadline.
