WAFWA’s 2026 Summer Meeting

On behalf of the Western Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies and Idaho Fish & Game we invite you to join us at our 2026 Summer Meeting to be held at The Riverside Hotel in Boise, Idaho.
The Summer Meeting will bring over 400 U.S. and Canadian fish and wildlife professionals to discuss shared biological, management, and land use issues. The event will attract professional fish and wildlife biologists (including commissioners and directors from over 20 states), managers, administrators, and others in fish and wildlife related fields.
Lodging & Travel
We will be staying at The Riverside Hotel in Boise.
Our room block is open until May 7, 2026 with a rate of $207 per night. Rooms are limited – so reserve early!

Riverside Hotel Amenities: The hotel sits right on the Boise River and offers a variety of amenities for dining and recreation.
Riverside Regular Group Block: $207 per night plus applicable taxes. Group rate is available until May 7, 2026 or until sold out, whichever occurs first.
Travel
Getting to Boise: For those flying, The Riverside Hotel is only a15-minute drive from the Boise Airport.
Getting Around Boise: The Riverside Hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle from 6am-11pm. The Hotel recommends calling ahead to confirm details and availability 208-343-1871. Complimentary self-parking is available on site.
