Christopher Moore, WAFWA Executive Support Services
Chris provides Executive Support Services for the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (WAFWA). Chris served as WAFWA’s Acting Executive Director from April 2019 to August 2021 and led the realignment of the LPC program.
Brad Loveless, Secretary of the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and WAFWA’s LPC Initiative Council Chair
Brad is Chair of the WAFWA Lesser Prairie-Chicken Initiative Council. The Council was established in 2013 as the governing body for the Range-wide Conservation Plan and oversees the strategy and overall management of the CCAA.
Chanda Pettie, LPC Program Manager and WAFWA GIS Services
Chanda is the program manager and GIS support services for the WAFWA Lesser Prairie-Chicken Range-wide Conservation Plan’s mitigation framework. Chanda joined the WAFWA team in 2019 providing support services to the LPC range-wide plan and is now implementing the CCAA realignment and business plan changes.
Kent Fricke, Small Game Coordinator Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and WAFWA’s Lesser Prairie-Chicken Interstate Working Group Chair
Kent joined the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks as the Small Game Coordinator in 2016 at the Emporia Research and Survey Office. Kent has served as the Chair of the Lesser Prairie-Chicken Interstate Working Group since 2018 and has chaired the LPC Advisory Committee’s Science Subcommittee.
Ben Guillon, Conservation Investment Management CEO and WAFWA LPC business strategy
Ben is the Founder and CEO of Conservation Investment Management, the first registered investment advisory company focused solely on nature conservation. In 2018, Ben conducted for WAFWA an in-depth audit of the LPC CCAA and proposed options to improve its compliance and defensibility. Since the audit, Ben has been working closely with Chris and Chanda to realign the CCAA and create a sustainable business model for the program. Ben has a doctorate degree in veterinary medicine and a master’s degree in environmental economics. Ben also holds a charter of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.
