WAFWA Endorsements and Brand Usage Guidelines

This policy provides our requirements regarding use of the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (WAFWA) word marks and logotypes (this includes but is not limited to the WAFWA logo, its variants, and all WAFWA sub-brands, event logos and variants).

WAFWA Endorsement

The endorsement of publications, events, and work products from WAFWA, its committees, or employed staff/contractors requires a deliberate and transparent process. This begins with the appropriate committee or staff member and must be elevated to appropriate leadership sponsors, the Executive Director, and then the Executive Committee or Board as deemed appropriate by the senior leadership. When requesting WAFWA endorsement, there needs to be a clearly stated goal and purpose for providing such an endorsement and understanding that consensus among leadership that aligns with strategic and organizational support for the ideas is essential.
