On behalf of the Western Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies and Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife, we invite you to join us at our public 2024 Summer Meeting to be held at the beautiful Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington.
The Summer Meeting will bring over 400 U.S. and Canadian fish and wildlife professionals together discuss shared biological, management, and land use issues. The event will attract professional fish and wildlife biologists (including commissioners and directors from over 20 states and provinces), managers, administrators, and others in fish and wildlife related fields.

Each year, we honor outstanding efforts in conservation during our Awards and Recognition Ceremony at our annual summer meeting. Our awards webpage describes the criteria for the available awards and provides a form to submit nominees.
A discounted group rate of $249 per room, per night plus 9% tax and a $23 per room, per night resort service charge is available to WAFWA participants at the Skamania Lodge. There are a limited number of federal per diem rooms available (federal ID will be required when checking in). Travel to Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington is 45 minutes from the Portland, Oregon airport (PDX). There is no shuttle service to Skamania, so a rental car is recommended, but we encourage carpooling among agency personnel.
